Tanner's passion for mechanical devices and ambition to become an engineer emerged early in his life. His journey towards realizing this dream was shaped by involvement in robotics teams, tinkering with radio-controlled cars, and enjoying an environment conducive to construction and fabrication. His engineering career began at Honda's Alabama Auto Plant as a Product Engineer, focusing on engine quality and testing. 

 

Tanner then transitioned to Steris IMS, where he contributed to designing repair parts for medical equipment, such as laparoscopic instruments and endoscopes. He brings this solid background and passion to the Building Performance Studio at Ecoworks as a Commissioning Agent as we continue to expand our Commissioning team. 

 

Outside of work, Tanner enjoys traveling, hiking, and fly fishing with his family. He actively participates in National Auto Sport Association Time Trials and engages in instructing High-Performance Driving Education events.
