WELL AP | WELL Performance Testing Agent | Parksmart Advisor | TRUE Advisor

SENIOR CONSULTANT
PROJECT SOLUTIONS STUDIO

Amy Danner has always had a passion for the built environment. As a second grader, she built a 3D model of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater (with minimal assistance from the parental units, of course) for a biography project on the renowned architect. Although her love for organic architecture continues today, Amy’s passion has evolved to focus on how the built environment affects the health and wellbeing of the occupants.

With over 12 years of sustainable design experience, as well as over 4 years of experience in designing sustainable city and regional growth plans, Amy has provided consulting services for dozens of projects seeking LEED, WELL, WELL Health-Safety Rating, Parksmart, TRUE, SITES, Living Building Challenge, and Fitwel certifications, as well as projects attempting WELL Performance Verification. As a third-party reviewer for GBCI, she has performed hundreds of LEED, WELL, WELL Health-Safety, TRUE, and SITES reviews, as well as having performed on-site assessments and performance verifications for the WELL and TRUE rating systems.

Amy enjoys educating others about the collaboration of health and wellbeing in the built environment by participating in speaking engagements and volunteering. Regionally, Amy has spoken at local chapters of green building groups, planning associations, and universities educating entry-level students to seasoned professionals on the importance of the sustainable building movement, the continued development of sustainable rating systems, and the evolution of opportunities within this sphere. At the national level, she contributed to several iterations of the writing and technical development of the WELL AP examination and the Parksmart rating system, as well as having spoken at Greenbuild, Greenbuild Mexico, and other USGBC/GBCI events.

When not helping influence the design of the built environment, Amy may be found reenergizing in the natural environment, trekking along to her goal of visiting all U.S. National Parks and states. She also enjoys visiting urban environments, tasting the local selection of craft beers and cuisine, as well as competitive puzzling, reading books, crafting, spending time with her four-legged babies, and cheering on Atlanta United as a Founding Member.
