McKinly Dortch

CONSULTANT
TECHNICAL ADVISORY STUDIO

WELL AP

McKinly joins Ecoworks Studio with experience in both consulting and sustainability. She holds a BS in Environmental Science with a master's in Sustainability Management and Innovation. Some projects during her education include implementing sustainable building practices at a non-profit and the Ferguson Building at Oklahoma State University and labeling the embedded carbon on food products for a British Muesli company.

For 3 years McKinly worked as a Biological Science Aide at the USDA-ARS where she grew sorghum to experiment with its genetic resistance to Aphids. During this time, she also worked at Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden as a sustainability intern where she designed a hydroponic system, performed campus-wide waste audits and studied gorilla behaviors.

These experiences combined with her passion for sustainability were both contributing factors to her recent success as an Associate Project Manager working at SustainAble Production (ASAP), supporting both LEED and WELL projects.

At Ecoworks, McKinly is a key member of the Sustainability Customer Service team where she specializes in providing guidance to WELL project teams pursuing certification.
