Interest in a new streamlined pathway to LEED and WELL certification has surged, and as the sustainability consultant, Ecoworks Studio proudly assisted TVS in becoming the first organization to achieve both certifications. TVS's 37,580 square-foot office in Atlanta secured LEED Platinum and WELL Certification at the Platinum level, the highest level for each certification.

This dual achievement aligns with Ecoworks Studio’s commitment to sustainable design and its belief that fostering the health and well-being of occupants is essential for long-term gains in human health and environmental sustainability. By integrating LEED and WELL standards, along with our expertise in Commissioning and Energy Modeling, we showcased TVS's leadership in these areas. Throughout the design process, we prioritized actions that would have meaningful long-term impacts on both people and the planet.

Our focus was not solely on accumulating certification points; instead, we aimed to deliver the best possible outcomes while being mindful of TVS's budget and tight schedule. We evaluated design options based on their near- and long-term impacts on collective well-being—considering equity, productivity, and resource efficiency. As the project neared completion, it became evident that, with a little extra effort, the Platinum requirements for both LEED and WELL could be met. The new streamlined process made this possible, and Ecoworks Studio is proud to have played a key role in supporting this innovative approach.
